Every step from setting up Tempoly to sharing your first post. Can't find what you need? Contact support.

1. Getting started

Tempoly is an AI assistant that learns your brand's voice and writes social media posts for you. Posts come to you for approval first; the ones you approve are shared at the time you choose.

  1. Create an account and confirm your e-mail with the link we send. New accounts get 300 free credits.
  2. On the Brand voice page, describe how you talk, or let Tempoly learn it from your past posts.
  3. On the Queue page, create your first post with Generate now, or set up a schedule for regular posts.
  4. Edit the drafts, approve them and share.

2. Brand voice

The brand voice is the set of rules every generated post follows. The clearer you are, the more the posts sound like you.

  • Content language: the language posts are written in.
  • Audience, tone and main topics: who to write for, how, and about what.
  • Topics to never write about and banned words: used as hard limits during generation.
  • Hashtag style, calls to action and emoji: the shape of the post.
  • Posts you like: shown as examples; leave an empty line between them.

You can change the brand voice any time; new settings apply to posts generated from then on.

3. Learning from past posts

With Learn from your past posts on the Brand voice page, upload your Instagram, X or LinkedIn archive or paste your posts. Tempoly works out your style and fills in the brand voice form for you.

  • The archive is opened in your browser; only post texts and engagement counts reach our servers, photos and videos are never uploaded.
  • The analysis looks at your 50 best-performing posts (or the newest, when there are no counts).
  • The first analysis is free, later ones cost 100 credits.

How do I download my archive?

  • Instagram: Settings → Accounts Center → Your information and permissions → Download your information. Choose JSON as the format.
  • X: Settings → Your account → Download an archive of your data. Upload the .zip as it is.
  • LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Get a copy of your data → Shares.

4. Generate now

In the Generate now box on the Queue page, choose the brand, post type and channels, and optionally add an instruction (e.g. "announce the new pricing page"). A separate text is written for each channel you choose, within that channel's character and hashtag limits.

Generation finishes within a few minutes and the post lands in the queue as a draft. If generation fails, the credits are refunded automatically.

5. Queue, editing and approval

The queue shows drafts waiting for your approval and scheduled posts. When you open a post you can:

  • Edit each channel's text, hook (first sentence) and hashtags.
  • Approve it to get it ready for publishing, or Back to draft to remove the approval.
  • Archive it to remove it from the queue.
  • Copy the text to share it on your account by hand.

The model gives every post a quality score out of 10; we suggest a closer look at low-scoring posts.

6. Schedules

A schedule generates posts automatically on given days and times. You choose the days, publishing times, time zone and how many posts per slot. Tempoly generates each post the number of hours you set before its publishing time (18 by default) and sends it for approval.

  • With auto-approve on, generated posts are approved straight away; publishing still needs a connected channel.
  • Pause and Resume stop and restart a schedule any time.
  • Generation stops when you run out of credits and continues once you add more.

7. Channels and sharing

Tempoly writes for Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube. Open a post and copy each channel's text to share it on your own account. If you have a connected channel, approved posts are shared there automatically at their publishing time; each channel costs 10 credits.

8. Credits and plans

Every generation in Tempoly uses credits. You get credits from a plan subscription or from credit packs.

  • Text post: 100 credits
  • Post with an image: 300 credits
  • Automatic sharing, per channel: 10 credits
  • Style analysis: first one free, then 100 credits

Subscription

Plans renew every month and add the plan's credits each month; unused plan credits don't carry over. The first subscription starts with a free trial that needs a card: 1 ₺ is charged to verify the card and refunded at once, and nothing is charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

Credit packs

Packs are available to paid plan holders and are valid for 12 months. Plan credits are spent first, then the oldest pack.

Cancelling

Cancel any time on the Credits and plan page; the plan stays active until the end of the period. See the Cancellation and Refund terms for details.

9. Mobile app

Sign in to the Tempoly mobile app with the same account to see your queue, edit and approve posts, generate new ones and follow your support tickets. Plans and credits are managed in the web app for now.

10. Account and security

  • Sign-in methods: link or remove another account such as Google on the Account page. You can't remove your only sign-in method.
  • Forgot password: ask for a reset e-mail with the link on the sign-in screen.
  • Language: TR / EN in the side menu changes the interface language; the post language comes from the brand voice.
  • Privacy: how your data is processed is explained in the Privacy Policy.

11. Frequently asked questions

My post wasn't generated. Did I lose credits?

No. Credits for failed generations are refunded automatically; you'll see a "refund" line in the account history.

Why doesn't my schedule generate posts?

Check that the schedule is active, has a brand voice, and that you have enough credits. The next generation time is shown on the schedule card.

The posts don't sound like me.

Add examples of posts you like to the brand voice, or let it learn from your past posts. Banned words and topics are hard rules.

Where is my invoice?

Payments are taken through iyzico. If you can't find your invoice, open a ticket with the "Payments, plan and credits" topic.

12. Support

Once signed in, open a ticket from Support in the side menu. Tickets are linked to your account; you'll see our reply on the same page and in the mobile app, and a dot appears in the menu when there's a new reply.

If you can't sign in, write to info@tempoly.app from your registered e-mail.
